Before you start reading this post, let me warn you that it discusses a topic that not everybody will be comfortable about, which is about masturbation, also known as Da Fei Ji, or literally, Beat Air Plane. I was inspired to do this post after a yamcha session with a group of friends which shall remain nameless because they might be too embarrassed after this.

I have no idea how we were lead to this topic, but we eventually reached the topic of masturbation. I guess it was when someone mentioned that they knew someone who masturbated in locations where we were familiar with. This probably explains why our instruments are so well lubricated, or have a shiny bright coating to them. ANYWAY....

First, i applaud this dudes honesty. Its not often you hear someone admit they do it, WHERE they do it, and WHEN they do it. As someone has said before, this topic is practically taboo. Something to shun away from, and yet its a fact of life, men DO masturbate. (Okay, not liking the amount of times I'm repeating the word. Gonna use M from now on).

But im curious. WHY do it in a public area? Are you not afraid of getting caught? And dont worry, im not judging you. Im just wondering..why take the risk? Safest place is normally the bathroom, or at the very least, your bedroom. Unless... its part of the excitement? The idea of getting caught somehow makes it easier to M?

Somehow i imagine someone in a lonely corner of a library, hands in his pants, sweat on his face, when someone walks in on him. What do you do? Yank out your hands? Raise both your hands up as if caught in the headlights of a truck? American Pie style? Even if you pull your hands out in time, manage to zip your pants, and pretend to read a book, wouldn't the person who walked in notice the huge LUMP in your pants? Unless, the shock of ALMOST getting caught shocks the little bro to sleep and he just drops down?

We also discussed how LONG it took for the guy to M. Apparently it ranged from 5-15 minutes. My first reaction to this was... "WTF??? 5-15?, seriously?" Thats an ENORMOUS risk. 5-15 minutes of M is a loooong time to do it in a public area. One would think if someone resorted to M in public, it would be for a quick fix, kinda like...smoking. You know, just light one up, puff a bit, burn it out, and chuck it away. Under 5 minutes.

You know those situations where you see a guy and a girl suddenly run in to a bathroom together, then 5 minutes later they reappear, clothes messed up, hair disheveled. THATs the max time it should take! Not 5-15 minutes!!

Then another friend had to amaze me further that he thought 5-15 minutes was normal. He said he occasionally did his for an hour. First thought in my mind : "OMG, you can be a professional porn star actor already!"

But then again, I'm assuming its done in the comfort of his own room, where there is no danger of anyone walking in. If that's the case i can understand it. Even though it still sounds a little long to me. 15 minutes would be the normal time required I would think it takes.

So my conclusion is this. Do you think its normal to M in public areas? At places where people potentially may catch you in the act? Or should it be just kept solely in your private places? Or perhaps, some of you think that to M is wrong, and that men shouldn't even do it?

And 2nd question. How long is normal? 30 seconds? 5 minutes? 10? An hour? Or more?

Hmmm...
