Second Step

I've thought hard about what i want to say in this blog.

My online presence is almost exclusively based on Facebook. Without Facebook, i dont exist in this virtual world. We stalk people there, we post up our pretty pictures, we comment on other people's stuffs, we inform the world via our statuses, we share links and videos, and we observe new couples and broken relationships.

I feel that statuses in Facebook also should not be changed too often. Once a day perhaps, or every 12 hours, but not every 10 minutes. Thats Twitter's job. There's a difference between posting interesting, meaningful status updates that contributes to good discussion than just posting stuff like "eating spaghetti now".

So what can i do in a blog?

Well, there are issues that i care about occasionally, usually after just reading the news, that I would like to share my thoughts with other people, and Facebook statuses are just too short.

Sometimes i want to make fun of things i see IN Facebook, but they slip my mind because its too insignificant to warrant a status change. So, too short, and too long statuses are a problem.

So, if you've read this far, please note that i probably wont put up too many pretty pictures, and my post can be as varied as I please. It may seem random, but hey, that's the freedom of blogging right? ;)

The first issue that i've been frequently checking up on CNN.com has been the recent shelling of artillery fire from North Korea on the South Korean border village.

I have never been a follower of politics, nor do I know much about World Wars and other countries histories. Heck, i barely know Malaysia's own histories =.="" But any intelligent being reading up on the many different news feeds will realize that North Korea's actions are just unacceptable. No matter who aggravates who, the taking of human lives *in my eyes* is the biggest sin possible. And anything else North Korea says just serves to dig its grave further. I'm in fact, awaiting a possible WW3 in Korea anytime now.

Since im on politics, I would like to just say something about Perkasa, a local political group in Malaysia. We all already know how the they flame racial tension in our country, although i doubt many of the youngsters are aware of what they actually say. Not going to say anything else about this hot issue, but if you know this person...

He just has a face you want to punch dont ya?

Hmm.. what else mattered today. Ohyea, band practices.

Please for god's sake. DO SECTIONALS. No one in the band now is professional enough to just expect to waltz in to the band room twice a week and perform beautiful music.

Im looking at YOU Woodwinds!

Oh and one more thing...

Please stop reading all those sappy lame romance article thingies and posting it on Facebook. Their unrealistic stories meant to raise ur idealism on how relationships should be. Just go out and experience those things yourselves la!

That was pretty long. Okay. Full stop. Now.
